The Bidding Data API is a Heureka service that provides detailed product data directly from the Heureka catalog – including current store offers, pricing information, ratings, and other key data essential for effective bidding. The API is designed as a modern, structured replacement for crawling product details on the Heureka website.
Goal
The Bidding Data API builds upon the original Bidding API and expands its capabilities with direct access to product details via a REST interface. The goal is to provide online stores and partners with a reliable, high-performance data source for automated bidding strategies without having to scrape or browse the Heureka website.

The documentation contains descriptions of endpoints, request and response structures, and examples of return values. It is generated using the OpenAPI standard and is available for download.
Client-Side Implementation
The Bidding Data API is built on a standard REST interface and returns responses in JSON format. Implementation is therefore straightforward in any programming language that supports HTTP requests.
Heureka-Side Caching
To ensure fast response times, product data is briefly cached on Heureka’s side. Please keep in mind that the data may not always reflect changes in real time.
Rate Limits
Each API key is subject to a per-second request limit based on your selected plan. We recommend spreading API calls evenly over time.
Billing
Invoices for API usage are generated retroactively for the previous month according to your agreed plan and total number of calls.
